Reel Awesome Charters Ltd provides land based accommodation for both charter clients and non-charter clients at Whangaroa Harbour .
The Lodge, situated in Whangaroa harbour and overlooking the Whangaroa marina, provides self catering, fully self contained accommodation.
Guests disembarking from their fishing charter are invited to relax and enjoy the beautiful views that the Lodge has to offer of the magnificent Whangaroa Harbour rather than rush back to their place of origin that day. Most of Whangaroa's charter boats and fleet are based on the marina. A 1 minute stroll from the marina will see you enjoying a cool one at either one of the oldest and most historic hotel's in NZ, the Marlin Hotel OR the Whangaroa Big game Fishing club. Then a 5 minutes walk will see you at the Whangaroa Harbour Lodge owned and operated by the Captain, Rick Jacobson. Rick makes available a 1 bedroom fully self contained, self catering apartment with views to die for from the private deck overlooking the harbour and facing northwards out to the Harbour entrance. Additional bedrooms at the lodge are also available to larger groups.
In the off season, the Lodge accommodation is also available for causal and non charter guests.
